why we help

Just wanted to reach out and share my immense gratitude and appreciation for your fundraising efforts and your support of Cancer research, patient advocacy and advancement of treatments and therapies.  My son Beckett (now 5) was diagnosed with Leukemia at 9 months old, happy to say that he is doing phenomenal today.  Our health care system can be excellent but there are limitations, and it comes down to the efforts of both grass roots and National organizations to help provide vital resources to continue life-saving work. I remain very active with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society on a leadership committee for their Light the Night campaign so I commend you and all your supporters and volunteers involved with the Spring Yard Cleanup.   Keep up the incredible work and I wish you a very successful fundraising campaign.

Dear sponsors and all involved with the spring clean-up,

We want to thank everyone for all their effort and work they did to make this such a success. WOW!

Corina has just started a new chemo therapy and hopefully with your help new research programs can be started to help fight cancer even better.

A big THANK YOU from the Slegh Family and Corina 2024

“It really is so good to see everybody getting together to raise money for childhood cancer research. It's because of that kind of research that we are here to get the best type of treatments for him. He (Adam) is currently using a brand new treatment in Florida, that is coming to Toronto in the next few years. He's a trooper, smiles and plays even though he has radiation burns.  Adam lately is a so much healthier boy than he has been in the last year.
