About Us

OUR MISSION

A. Get the money we raise as close to the cause as possible.

B. Promote community and fundraising together.

C. We will not spend money to raise money

OUR STORY

The Spring Yard Cleanup for Cancer started in memory of the Dad of several of our team members, who had been affected by brain cancer in 2006 and passed away in 2009. We first put together a team for the Relay for Life in Woodstock, raising $4,000 via online pledges.

In 2010, the Spring Yard Cleanup began, raising $7,000 in the first year. The fundraiser continued over the years but was made a stand-alone fundraiser in 2014, with all funds raised going directly to Cancer Research.

In the past 15 years, we have raised over $3 million - $3,253,079 to be exact!

2024 Small Town Cancer Fighters

2024 was another amazing year! With 160+ volunteers, and 140+ yards, we were able to raise $728,372.26. Thank-you to the volunteers, donors, as well as property owners. We thank everyone for their continued support. Without you all, it would be impossible!  Thanks!  The Small Town Cancer Fighters
